Vaccination promotion campaign will continue in January and in case of vaccination, now citizens over 50 will receive 200 GEL

According to today's decision of the Coordinating Council, the 200 GEL vaccination promotion campaign will continue in January.

According to Giorgi Ghibradze, Chief of the Operational Staff of the Interagency Coordination Council, the age limit will be lowered and instead of 60 years, now citizens over 50 years of age will receive 200 GEL, in case of vaccination.

"According to the decision, the incentive program will continue in January, which provided 200 GEL for people over 60 years of age. It is also a novelty, the age limit will be lowered to 50 years, and if a person over the age of 60 was receiving assistance, now from January onwards, those over the age of 50 will receive assistance. That was the decision the Coordinating Council adopted today. There is enough money allocated from the budget, which will be enough to give a 200-GEL incentive to all people over the age of 50 who are vaccinated. So far, this program has been extended for January, let's see what happend later," Ghibradze said.
