"Ukraine is being drained of blood. As for Shevchenko, he is in mourning today," – this is how the Mayor of Tbilisi and General Secretary of "Georgian Dream," Kakha Kaladze, responded to the statement by the President of the Ukrainian Football Federation, Andriy Shevchenko, who said that he "does not communicate with Kaladze and that he does not exist for him."

Kaladze stated that he does not intend to engage in a debate or make statements regarding someone who is in mourning.

"I would not wish even my enemy to be in the situation that Ukraine is in today. Ukraine is in distress, it is being drained of blood. As for Shevchenko, he is in mourning today. As a Georgian man, as a Georgian person, it is absolutely unacceptable for me to engage in a debate with someone in mourning or make any clarifications. I sincerely hope that the horrors in Ukraine will end soon and that people will be able to analyze what has happened," Kaladze said.
