Georgia’s breakaway, Russia-occupied Tskhinvali region, called as ‘South Ossetia’ will open the customs checkpoint in Akhalgori region.
Head of the so-called customs committee Murat Tskhovrebov has declared this at today’s press-conference.
According to him the customs service will be provided to the Razdakhan checkpoint.
As he has declared, the idea emerged as a result of monitoring cargos from Georgia as cargos transportation envisaged no taxes at ell.
‘The checkpoint is necessary to be established in order the imported product volume and quality to be controlled,’ Tskhovrebov has remarked.
All necessary documentation has been sent to the government to implement the plan, as he remarked.
