Tbilisi to host two exhibitions within the framework of Check in Georgia project The capital city of Georgia will host two exhibitions on October 5 including November 29 within the framework of the Check in Georgia project.

‘Universal Values: Botticelli - Beauty, Caravaggio – Light’.

The exhibition will be arranged at the Dimitri Shevardnadze National Gallery. As reported by the press-service of Georgia’s Ministry of Economy, the Venus Pudica exhibition will be held in cooperation with Torino Royal Museums and Cultural Association ‘Metamorphosis’.


‘Venus’ kept at Torino Sabauda Gallery will be exhibited in Tbilisi. It was created by Sandro Botticelli, brilliant representative of Renaissance Epoche and genial artist. The Opera Omnia exhibition also includes digital replicas of 40 artworks by Caravaggio, master of lights and shadows,’ Georgia’s Ministry of Economy reports.


The joint press-conference by Georgia’s Minister of Culture, Economy Ministry Brand Development Department Head, Director of National Museum and Italian Ambassador to Georgia will be held tomorrow at 11:00.
