Georgian citizen detained in Turkey for attempting to illegally transfer Syrian refugees to Greece A citizen of Georgia has been detained in Turkey while attempting to illegally transfer Syrian refugees to Greece, - Militia reports.

Near the resort of Marmar, police stopped a minibus, by which 12 Syrian refugees were trying to illegally reach the Rhodes island.

According to the Turkish media, a 37-year-old citizen of Georgia and a 43-year-old citizen of Syria were illegally transferring the Syrian refugees.
