We have made impressive progress on the way leading to the EU - Giorgi Kvirikashvili
14:44 01-11-2017
We have made impressive progress on the way leading to the EU - Giorgi Kvirikashvili We have made impressive progress on the way leading to the EU, this is the result of our nation's devotion and the support of our friends, including the greatest support from our country - Estonia, - Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili said at the Georgian-Estonian business forum.

The PM thanked the Estonian President and Estonian delegation for visiting Georgia and noted that this visit emphasizes the depth and scale of the existing relations between the two countries.

According to the Prime Minister, Estonia has always been a committed supporter of Georgia's independence, development and European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.

"Your visit once again emphasizes this support, because now Estonia is functioning as the EU's chair country and at the same time, the most important Eastern Partnership Summit is approaching us. Georgia is preparing for the summit. We’ve made impressive progress on the way leading to the EU. This is the result of our nation's devotion and support of our friends. Estonia is not our strongest supporter. We highly appreciate the support of our Estonian friends, which has been vital for Georgia for the 25 years of diplomatic relations," Kvirikashvili said.

According to him, a wide range of areas of successful cooperation between Georgia and Estonia were discussed at the meeting with the Estonian President.

"Most importantly, I note with satisfaction that we have a common vision about the future and I am very pleased that the leading Estonian companies and their Georgian colleagues have gathered here today, which desire to use the unused potential between our countries and significant business opportunities", - said Kvirikashvili.
