324 citizens of Georgia refused to enter Schengen zone for 7 months 324 citizens of Georgia were refused to enter the Schengen zone for 7 months from the enactment of the visa-free travel.

According to the information requested by Interpresnews from the State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, most citizens of Georgia were sent back from the border of Italy.

In particular, the data are as follows: 60 citizens were refused by Italy, 56 citizens were refused by Greece, Poland refused 53 citizens, Cyprus - 49 citizens, Hungary - 33 citizens, Germany - 26, Lithuania - 15, the Netherlands - 12, Belgium - 9, France – 3, Sweden - 3, Switzerland -2, Estonia - 2 and Spain - 1.

According to the statistical data, most of the people who were sent back were men.

The data covers the period from 28 March 2017 to 20 October 2017.
