Special services should be allowed to conduct qualified investigation - Giorgi Margvelashvili Special services should be given an opportunity to conduct a qualified investigation and provide the public with all the information that will answer questions, - Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili said while commenting on the special operation conducted in the Pankisi Gorge.

According to him, due to the work specifics of special services, certain information may not be publicized.

"I would like to emphasize that special services should be allowed to conduct a qualified investigation and provide the public with all the information in response to their questions. But at the same time, we should also take into consideration that due to the work specifics of these services, some information may not be publicized," Margvelashvili said.

The President expressed love and respect towards the population of the Pankisi Gorge.

"When there is a victim, especially a young one, it's natural that we always worry about it. At the same time, I want to express my love and respect for the people of the Pankisi Gorge. They build and strengthen our country together with us and they should know that this is the attitude of the Georgian society towards them", the President noted.
