Nazi Janezashvili: Introduction of disciplinary liability for all members of High Council of Justice is a dragon law
13:31 23-06-2018
Nazi Janezashvili: Introduction of disciplinary liability for all members of High Council of Justice is a dragon law Nazi Janezashvili, the non-judge of the High Council of Justice, believes that introduction of disciplinary liability for all members of the Council is directed against the non-judge members of the Council, who openly criticize the Council.

As Janezashvili told reporters, the initiative, which was presented at the current meeting on the judicial reform, was a surprise for her. According to her, this initiative has not been discussed at the session of the Council of Justice and in case it is adopted, the law will become a dragon law.

The non-judge members of the High Council of Justice, who are appointed to the Council by the Parliament or the President, may be dismissed by the Council itself. The relevant initiative was submitted by part of the members of the Council, according to which, disciplinary responsibility should be applied to non-judge members of the Council.

According to the initiative, all members of the Council should be subjected to uniform deontological liabilities, violation of which will be regarded as a disciplinary offence and may lead to disciplinary penalties, including dismissal.
