Olympic champion Lasha Talakhadze sets new world record Georgian Olympic champion Lasha Talakhadze has set a new world record during the Georgian championship in Dusheti.

As InterPressNews was told by the Weightlifting Federation, by lifting 474 kg, Talakhadze broke his own record (473 kg) set at Rio's Olympic championship.

Talakhadze will compete at the World Cup in the United States on December 5.
