Georgia’s Basketball Team Captain finishes his career
11:15 07-09-2017
Georgia’s Basketball Team Captain finishes his career Zaza Pachulia, the captain of the Georgian National Basketball Team has ended his international career. He made the official statement on his Facebook account.

“It is very hard for me to leave what I have been carrying together with the boys for many years. There is no easy road from B Division to Europe and I hope we all agree here. There have been many successes and failures in 17 years, as well as great expectations. One way or another, this is what we have achieved and the rest, I hope, will be achieved by future generations.

I wanted a completely different ending, but unfortunately my injury did not allow me to do more. However, I always did my best for better outcome. Most of all I feel sorry for our fans, whose support has always been so passionate. I want to thank each of you. I think you deserved more from us but now we all hope for the future. Now the time has come for the captain to leave, my dear teammates and supporters! I will never forget these golden years.

Thank you”, - Reads the farewell statement.
