The leader of "Lelo - Strong Georgia," Mamuka Khazaradze, has been summoned again to a session of the parliamentary temporary investigative commission. He wrote about this on social media.

"The punishment should be proportionate, fair, objective, and commensurate with the crime committed by the accused. The prosecution believes that a severe penalty should be applied for such an act," stated Prosecutor Natia Tatiashvili to journalists regarding the case of Zurab Girchi Japaridze, a leader of the "Coalition for Change."

The National Security Council may be abolished as of September 1, 2025. The government has submitted a corresponding legislative proposal to the Parliament.

"Even if Bidzina Ivanishvili announces new elections tomorrow, I believe we should not participate in such elections. Our goal is not just to hold new elections but to ensure fair elections that the public can trust," Akaki Bobokhidze, a leader of "European Georgia," stated on PalitraNews’ program "Day’s Newsroom."

The verdict in the case of Zurab Girchi Japaridze, a leader of the "Coalition for Change," will be announced on June 23.
