Mikheil Saakashvili not provided with refugee’s status for second time Ukraine’s State Immigration Service has refused to provide former Georgian President, ex-Governor of Odessa Mikheil Saakashvili with documents to get refugee’s status.

The politician’s lawyers plan to appeal the decision; - Saakashvili’s Legal Service head Ruslan Chernolutski has told LIGA.net.

According to him Saakashvili presented his application on refugee’s status on October 31.

‘The Immigration Service decision will be appealed… We will prepare and present a lawsuit tomorrow,’ Chornolutski has declared.
