Salome Zurabishvili feels herself not prepared for giving advice to Parliament about diplomatic relations with Russia

I'm not ready to give any advice to the legislative body about the launch of the diplomatic relations or dialogue with Russia,- President Salome Zurabishvili said at the meeting with media representatives today.

President Zurabishvili thinks that every step regarding Russia should be agreed with the main partners of Georgia.

“As you know, there is a six-year [Presidential] term, it’s difficult to say what will happen during this six-term. Many things change at the international level and very fast... I do not think at the present time we have any possibility Georgia to be in any relationship with Russia, in the initial relationship so that it is not agreed with its closest partners. I'm not ready to give any advice to the legislative body about the launch of the diplomatic relations or dialogue with Russia. When I will have my first visits, and I will pay one of my first visits to Afghanistan, though I cannot specify the date due to the security reasons, when I will be actively involved in the international relationships, I can feel myself more prepared for giving any advice to the government,” Salome Zurabishvili said.
