A Georgian sailor, 22-year-old Davit Razmadze, was lost in Libya during sailing. He has been missing for two weeks now.

According to Tamar Ioseliani, Director of the Maritime Transport Agency of the Ministry of Economy, they received notification about the sailor's disappearance on January 16 and they are trying to establish the whereabouts of the missing person together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"We are working in every direction; we are using diplomatic channels. A representative of the ship owner arrived in Libya today to take appropriate measures," Tamar Ioseliani said.
