Eka Beselia to attend meeting of parliamentary majority

Eka Beselia, a member of the parliamentary majority, says she will leave Strasbourg before the end of her business trip in order to attend the parliamentary majority meeting.

As InterPressNews was told by Beselia, representatives of the majority notified her of the meeting.

"They contacted me and asked me to attend the meeting. I also felt that my presence was needed. Therefore, I will leave Strasbourg before the end of my business trip and attend the parliamentary majority meeting," said Beselia.

The parliamentary majority will hold a meeting on January 24 and it will be attended by Bidzina Ivanishvili, chairman of the Georgian Dream party.

Leader of the parliamentary majority, Archil Talakvadze told journalists that at the meeting, the majority will discuss all important issues of the spring session, including the issues related to the court.

According to Talakvadze, the majority will also discuss the annual reports of the President and the Chairman of the Parliament, which are important issues of the spring session.
