MPs who directly opposed list of judicial candidates meet today

The lawmakers of the parliamentary majority who directly opposed the list of candidates for the Supreme Court judges, submitted by High Council of Justice, gathered in the working room of Gia Zhorzholiani, chairman of the faction Georgian Dream - Social Democrats.

MPs: Levan Gogichaishvili, Zaza Papuashvili, Mirian Tsiklauri, Beka Natsvlishvili, Ruslan Poghosyan and Gedevan Popkhadze attended the meeting.

MP Gedevan Popkhadze told InterPressNews that at the meeting they various issues, including the meeting of the Parliamentary majority that is scheduled for tomorrow.

The parliamentary majority will hold a meeting on January 24. The meeting will reportedly be attended by Bidzina Ivanishvili, chairman of the Georgian Dream party.
