President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili has met with Federica Mogherini, Vice-President of the European Commission and High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
As InterPressNews was reported by the Administration of President of Georgia, Georgia’s occupied territories was one of the key topics of the meeting. Federica Mogherini undelined that Georgia is still high on the EU agenda. She expressed delight that President Zurabishvili paid her first visit to Brussels.
President Zurabishvili started her first working visit to Brussels on January 21 and has already held meetings with Johannes Hahn, European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission, Dimitris Avramopoulos, European Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship, Donald Tusk, President of the European Council, and members of the European Parliament – Ana Gomes, Clare Moody, Sajjad Karim, Heidi Hautala, Michael Gahler.
