Embassy of Norway to be open in Georgia

Norway highlights the reforms implemented in Georgia, aiming to strength integration processes,- it was said at the meeting held between Prime Ministers of Georgia and the Kingdom of Norway. The meeting was held within the framework of the 55 th Munich Security Conference.

Mamuka Bakhtadze and Erna Solberg emphasized the close relations between the two countries and discussed prospects of deeper political and economic cooperation. It was noted that upcoming establishment of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in Georgia will significantly boost this process.

The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Norway reiterated support for Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration.

The Prime Ministers also discussed the regional state of affairs and security challenges.

The meeting was attended by Georgia's Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani and Prime Minister's Strategic Communication Advisor Irakli Chikovani.
