Parliament supports accelerated discussion of draft law on suspension of appointment of judges for life tenure

Parliament will discuss in an accelerated manner the draft law on suspension of appointment of judges for life tenure.

The Parliament’s bureau today supported an accelerated discussion a draft of legislative amendments to the Law Law of Georgia on Common Courts.

Senior Georgian Dream lawmaker Eka Beselia and 8 other Georgian MPs have initiated a draft law on suspension of appointment of judges for life tenure in the first and second instances of courts until December 31, 2024.
