Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius commented on the death of Georgian citizen in occupied Gali district.

"Gross violations of human rights continue in the occupied territories. The recent case [of Irakli Kvaratskehlia’s death] in the occupied territory of Abkhazia must be thoroughly and transparently investigated. This fact is another proof of what is happening there and it is unacceptable, " Linas Linkevičius said prior to the EU Foreign Ministers meeting in Brussels.
