Kakha Tsikarishvili: Nino Gvenetadze could not defeat two clans in the court and was forced to cooperate with them

Nino Gvenetadze could not defeat clans in the court and was forced to cooperate with them, - Kakha Tsikarishvili, assistant to the former Chairperson of the Supreme Court of Georgia, Nino Gvenetadze, said.

According to him, there were "two clans" in the court.

"I do not know whether my statements are scandalous or not, because the society has already heard Nino Gvenetadze's statement, which she made shortly before resigning. She publicly declared a few months ago that she was a victim of violence.

As to whether she is in danger or not now, I cannot tell you this. I’ve asked her to meet me several times, but in vain. I'd like to ask her to come out and speak about the situation in the judiciary. This, I think, will greatly help the public to understand what is really going on in the court.

I can tell you that I was her assistant and adviser and we had planned a number of actions to combat the clans in the court. But unfortunately, she chose a different strategy, which did not succedd. Nino Gvenetadze could not defeat the clans in the court and was forced to cooperate with them. After this cooperation reached a certain point that was morally unacceptable for her, she resigned," Kakha Tsikarishvili said.

According to him, the two clans were led by Tsersvadze and Chinchaladze in the court.

"The power was actually distributed as follows: Tsertsvadze was the Chairman of the Court of Appeals and Chinchaladze was the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court. They had their groups and were ruling the court bu the help of these groups," Kakha Tsikarishvili said.
