According to the President, Irakli Kvaratskhelia's kidnapping and death is a gross violation of international law and a crime against our state, - said Khatia Moistsrapishvili, spokesperson for President Salome Zourabichvili.

According to Moistsrapishvili, Zourabichvili speaks about the above incident at every official meeting.

"According to the President, Irakli Kvaratskhelia's kidnapping and death is a gross violation of international law and a crime against our state. She once again offers sympathy to the family of the young man killed by occupants.

The President beleives that this issue should be discussed at all high-level meetings. All international formats should be used for widely publicizing this issue. The President believes that it is necessary to create a new format that would provide the opportunity of holding a high-level political dialogue. Currently we only have formats, where technical issues are discussed, and there is no political dialogue”, Khatia Moistsrapishvili said.
