Maia Tskitishvili: Since there are no finances for the Anaklia project, I presume the deadline will not be met

The first phase is due to end by 20 November 2020. Regrettably, as there are no finances for this project, I presume this deadline will not be met, - Maia Tskitishvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, said when speaking about the Anaklia Port Construction Project at the plenary session in the Parliament.

"Te Anaklia project has recently become one of the main topics of discussion. We have heard groundless political speculations, which, first of all, damage the project”, Maia Tskitishvili said.

According to her, incorrect public opinion is being created around this topic, as if this issues is related to the questions raised in relations to individual founders of the Consortium and that the Government of Georgia is not interested in building the Anaklia port.
