Bipartisan support from Congress means that relationship between the two countries is reliable and future-oriented, - Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of the Parliament, said after meeting with members of the House Democracy Partnership (HDP), a bipartisan commission of the U.S. House of Representatives.
The Chairman of the Parliament talked about the close partnership between the two countries.
"I am pleased to greet you on behalf of the Parliament of Georgia and thank you for your support and strategic partnership. Your visit is another confirmation of the special relationship between Georgia and the United States. The relationship between our countries is deepening and we can be proud that our partnership has never been at such a high level as it is today.
The main basis for Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic integration is democratic development, the main supporter of which has been the United States of America. The bipartisan support from Congress means that relationship between the two countries is reliable and future-oriented," Kobakhidze said.
