President's spokesperson: After the French government determines what kind of assistance it needs, it is possible to think about how Georgia can help France

After the French government determines what kind of assistance it needs, it is possible to think about how Georgia can help France, - president's spokesperson Khatia Moistsrapishvili said.

According to her, Salome Zourabichvili noted that the Georgian people stand beside the French people in this difficult time.

"One of the symbols of Paris, France and, in general, Christianity, the Notre-Dame cathedral survived yesterday by the devotion to the French people and the sincere desire of millions of people around the world. Today the world has united around the restoration of the cathedral”, Khatia Moistsrapishvili said.

When asked if Salome Zourabichvili would take part in the restoration of the cathedral, Moistsrapishvili responded that this could be considered after the French authorities determine what type of assistance is needed.
