An official dinner was held at the State Ceremonies Palace on behalf of the President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, in honor of the President of Cyprus, Nikos Anastasiades, and First Lady Andri Anastasiades, - Presidential Administration told InterPresNews.

The official dinner was attended by the fourth President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili, and his wife, together with other officials.

As Salome Zourabichvili noted in her welcome speech, this is the first case when such an important meeting was attended by the former president. “I hope we will lay the foundation of this tradition”, she said.

The Presidents of Georgia and Cyprus proposed a toast to friendship of Georgian and Cypriot peoples.
