The Ministry of Internal Affairs has arrested three persons in connection with the robbery of Liberty Bank, - First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Kakha Sabanadze said at a press conference.

According to him, in the morning of April 19, three armed men attacked the Varketili branch of Liberty Bank and took away GEL 2030. The robbers injured two people in the bank, who were transferred to the hospital.

Police seized the robbed money as evidence.

All three detainees had been previously convicted. They face prison term from 6 to 9 years if convicted.
