Finance Minister of Georgia Ivane Machavariani is convinced that the National Bank of Georgia has taken the only right step regarding the TBC Bank case. Machavariani spoke about the processes around TBC Bank in his interview with PalitraNews TV program "360 Degrees”.

When the anchor asked whether the problem related to TBC Bank co-founder Mamuka Khazaradze was finished or not, and whether the Minister, as the former businessman, had answered to all the questions, Ivane Machavariani answered that he, as a former businessman, did not have any question regarding the case.

As for the ongoing investigation of the Prosecutor’s Office into Khazaradze’s possible participation in the money laundering, the Finance Minister said that he does not have any idea what is going on.

“I do not have any idea what is going on in this part of the case. But I know what the respond of the National Bank to this was. I am 100% sure and I have no doubt this was the only correct step. This is confirmed by everyone and I do not think anyone will be found who will protest it, "said the Minister of Finance.
