We must not allow provocateurs to ruin the reputation of our major achievement – the high quality of democracy, Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze told reporters in Brussels while commenting about recent developments in Zugdidi.
To the question, how does he evaluate the pre-election environment, the Prime Minister replied that the ruling team will ensure democratic elections and those, who violate the law, will be punished severely.
“First of all, I would like to tell you that not only in Zugdidi, but everywhere, we will provide free and democratic elections as we usually do since the " Georgian Dream " came into power. Of course, we must not allow provocateurs to throw shade at our most important achievement - the high quality of democracy. Naturally, if someone violates the law, it will be responded appropriately and very strictly,” said PM Mamuka Bakhtadze.
