Salome Zourabichvili says Russia's aggressive policy makes Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations even stronger

President Salome Zourabichvili met with the Prime Minister of Latvia Arturs Krišjānis Kariņš and provided him with detailed information about the situation in the occupied territories of Georgia, noting that Russia turned Samachablo, one of the occupied regions of Georgia, into a military base, where it systematically violates human rights.

Arturs Krišjānis Kariņš said that Georgia's partner countries should remind Russia of the importance of resolving Georgia's problem.

The President of Georgia agreed with the position of Arturs Krišjānis Kariņš and said that Russia should be under constant pressure at the meetings held international organizations to fulfil its obligations.

Salome Zourabichvili once again noted that Russia's aggressive policy makes Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations even stronger.
