Police investigating incident occurred at Zugdidi #87 polling station

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has launched an investigation into the incident occurred at Zugdidi #87 polling station, the Ministry told InterPressNews.

According to MIA, the investigation has opened under Article 236 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, involving illegal purchase and storage of firearms.

The members of the United Opposition claim that their representative at Zugdidi #87 polling station Zoia Qvartskhava was threatened with a gun. They argue that somebody has fired a gun into the air from a vehicle at Zugdidi #87 polling station. Tina Bokuchava of the United Opposition said at a brifing today that the car belongs to "Zonder" of the ruling "Georgian Dream" party - Irakli Changelia.
