CEC : GD candidate leads mayoral elections in Marneuli

"Georgian Dream" candidate Zaur Dargal is winning the mayoral race in Marneuli municipality, according to the preliminary results of all the 90 polling stations. The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia has reported that the GD candidate obtained 79,6% of votes (28088) and Agil Mustafaev of the opposition “European Georgia” party received 11,49% of votes.

As for another opposition candidate Akmamed Imamkuliev, he obtained 7,54% of votes.

The CEC said that all other candidates have obtained the votes less than one percent.
