Opposition launches permanent protests in Abkhazia

Militia is mobilized in front of the so-called parliament in the occupied region of Abkhazia, where the opposition is protesting against the decision of the de facto parliament, - Sputnik-Abkhazia reports.

The opposition demands the postponement of the so-called presidential elections, which has been refused by the so-called parliament.

"We demand the postponement for the presidential elections for the fall. This request of people has been ignored, after which, several incidents took place. We are launchign permanent protests. We will stand here until the president of Abkhazia will not satisfy our demand," said Victor Tuanba, a member of the Amtsakhara party.

The Opposition Forces demand the postponement of the elections, as they want to nominate their candidate Aslan Bzhania, who was taken to a Moscow hospital on April 18. Reportedly, Bzhania was poisoned.
