USAID Energy Program will officially grant the Uniform System of Accounting (USoA) for Gas Regulated Sector to Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC). The transfer ceremony will take place at GNERC office, 19 Mitskevichi Street.

USAID Georgia Mission Director Peter Wiebler, Chair of GNERC Irina Milorava, and USAID Energy Program Chief of Party Daniel Potash will make welcoming remarks at the event. USoA represents a milestone in the progress of GNERC towards meeting the Energy Community Treaty requirements in terms of creating a transparent and secure accounting system. Increased transparency and data uniformity brought by USoA will serve as a foundation for creating a supportive environment for financial investment.
