I am convinced that the second round of elections will be held in the same way as the first round - peacefully, in accordance with the highest democratic standards and citizens will be able to make their decisions and choices, - Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze said at the briefing held before the government meeting.

According to him, another democratic elections were held in a free environment under the current government and the free choice is the most important achievement of their political team.

”Our candidates won in the first round. As for Mtatsminda, we will have the second round, which at the same time is a demonstration of democratic elections. Irresponsible political forces tried to disrupt the process, but they failed," Mamuka Bakhtadze said.

Mamuka Bakhtadze once again thanked the election commission, representatives of observer organizations and law enforcers for conducting peaceful elections.
