Serviceman dies at IV Infantry Brigade

Corporal Mamuka Kharazishvili of 44 th battalion at the IV Infantry Brigade died this morning, the Ministry of Defence of Georgia said on Thursday.

“The Ministry of Defense of Georgia expresses its deep sorrow over the death of the Georgian military serviceman, Corporal Mamuka Kharazishvili,” the Ministry statement reads.

According to the Defence Ministry, Mamuka Kharazishvili felt ill during the planned exercises and he was taken to the hospital of the IV Infantry Brigade.

“Unfortunately, he died from heart failure. Doctors conducted a pneumocardial reanimation, but Corporal Mamuka Kharazishvili died. An investigation has been launched under Paragraph I, Article 116 of the Criminal Code of Georgia,” the Ministry said.
