President Zurabishvili on Putin’s decision : My response is that tourists should continue to come because they love Georgia

The response is that tourists should continue to come because they love Georgia. And politicians and leaders should solve the problems, President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili said in her interview with “Euronews” while responding to the journalist’s question what was her response to Vladimer Putin’s decision on suspension of flights with Georgia.

These problems mean unification of Georgia but it should not affect the tourists, should not affect the population, should not affect the peaceful situation that has prevailed in Georgia despite everything else.

We should have de-escalation because nobody needs, neither Georgia nor the EU, nobody need another point for tension in the region. We will continue what we have been doing which is answering with peaceful means to any attempts to create tensions,” Salome Zurabishvili said.
