Russian delegation to OSCE protests against draft resolution

The Russian delegation to the OSCE has protested against the draft resolution on the conflict in eastern Ukraine and Crimea, as well as frozen conflicts in Georgia, Moldova and Azerbaijan.

According to RIA Novosti, the Russian delegation submitted an amendment demanding the removal of the term - "de-occupation of Crimea". Russia also demands that Donbass not be a party to the conflict and not be liable for the non-fulfilment of the Minsk Agreement.

The draft resolution calls on the parties to the conflicts to hold honest negotiations for achieving peace and to respect the sovereignty and internationally recognized borders of Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova.

The draft document was prepared by Alan Farelli, a representative of Ireland.
