We are trying to get Russians here in a different way, or to find alternatives to the Russian market, - Michael Cowgill, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Georgia, told reporters when commenting on Russian sanctions.
“We, investors’ council, together with the American Chamber of Commerce, we've already been working with the government and the tourism agency, trying to get Russians here in a different way, or to find alternatives to the Russian market.
We also sent a letter also to the Prime Minister and suggested that the tourism agency maybe can get some more resources to help them with their advertising.
So I think there may be a very short term hit. But I think that in the long run, we will overcome this problem, like we did in case of wine and mineral water”, Michael Cowgill said.
