PM: Georgian Dream will never cooperate with the force that had been oriented only to destructive measures for years

The Georgian Dream will never cooperate with the force that had been oriented only to destructive measures for the last few years, - Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze said at a briefing held before the government session in response to a question concerning the possibility of creation of a coalition.

Mamuka Bakhtadze noted that the possibility of the creation of a coalition government increased by the initiative of the Georgian Dream, according to which, proportional elections will be held with a zero barrier in 2020.

"Naturally, proportional elections with a zero barrier icnreases such a probability. But a long time is left until October 2020. I would not make early conclusions. This depends only on the choice of the Georgian nation. However, the electoral system, initiated by us, increases the likelihood of a coalition government. At the same time, we will never cooperate with the force which had been oriented only to destructive measures and had aggressive agenda for the last few years, which hurt the Georgian society and harmed the national interests”, the PM said.
