Ivanishvili says those, who want closure of Russian market, are Georgia’s enemies

Those, who tell-tale that we must replace the Russian market by the European and Ukrainian ones, are absolutely ignorant and uneducated, Bidzina Ivanishvili, the Chairman of the Ruling "Georgian Dream" told reporters in Batumi on Wednesday.

According to Ivanishvili, those, who want the Russian market to be closed and the trade with Russia to be suspended, are the enemies of the country.

“If you pay attention, Europeans, even the developed European countries, try to establish themselves on the Russian market. The replacement of the Russian market is not easy for anyone - neither for the Europeans and nor especially for us. It takes years to export goods into a new market and to attract the attention of new customers. It's not a simple process. Our products are known in Russia and they have consumers there. When the Russian market was closed, the diversification took place, and this process continues, but the people who want the Russian market to be closed and the trade [with Russia] to be suspended, are the enemies of the country,” Bidzina Ivanishvili said.
