Nika Gvaramia to Paata Salia: Your collaborationism is unacceptable and I do not intend to cooperate with you

“Your collaborationism is unacceptable and I do not intend to cooperate with you. I ask my secretary not to offer you a cup of coffee. Now you can meet whoever you want, but I will not let you in this office, this is my personal space so far," - Rustavi 2's former director general Nika Gvaramia told the new director of the channel, Paata Salia.

For his part, Salia said he had not arrived at Rustavi 2 for occupying the office, which was replied by Gvaramia by saying: "You’d better come for the office, as you have come for destroying democracy."

Prior to that, Salia said that he wanted to talk to the managers of the TV company to discuss future plans.

"I want to meet people who are involved in the daily management of the company and talk about what we will do from tomorrow. I do not interfere with journalists' activities," said Salia.
