Parliament’s Speaker : I believe no secret recording depicting private life has been made under our government

Each citizen’s right to private life is protected under our government, each case has been investigated and a number of persons have been held accountable, including in connection with Eka Beselia case, - Parliament’s Chairman Archil Talakvadze told reporters on Tuesday.

Talakvadze said that the government respects private life and no secret recording depicting private life has been made under the current government.

“Each citizen’s right to private life is protected under our government, each case has been investigated and a number of persons have been held accountable, including in connection with Eka Beselia case. We respect and protect the fundamental human rights and I believe that no illegal record depicting private life was made under our government and the record that was made and published during the previous government was the subject of appropriate reaction from the investigation,” Archil Talakvadze said.
