MEP: The EU as a whole has to make a strong statement, because apparently Russia is only testing how far they can go

This is an unprecedented act of occupation and I will definitely talk about this European Parliament, - Markéta Gregorová, Member of the European Parliament, told reporters in Gugutiantkari.

„My opinion is that this is an unprecedented act of occupation. I also very much disagree with what is going on here and how people are treated. Fences and lines were built behind their gardens and even some houses and they now have to move. I have heard that for some of them the government will buy houses, but it is still a Russian act of aggression.

I will definitely speak about this in the relevant committee in the European Parliament- in the committees of defense and international affairs. The EU as a whole has to make a strong statement, because apparently Russia is only testing how far they can go before there will be some retaliation and some hard answer. And I think we have to give it to them, otherwise they will go even further”, the MEP said.
