NDI - Tbilisi Mayor is most liked political leader

The U.S. National Democratic Institute (NDI) has today released the results of its public opinion survey. According to the NDI poll, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze enjoys the highest favorability rating of political leaders.

11 % of the NDI respondents evaluate the job performance of Kakha Kaladze as “very well”, 34 % - as “well”, 37 % - as “average”, 10 % - as “bad” and 5%- as “very bad.”

Kakha Kaladze is followed by ex-prime minister Mamuka Bakhtadze. 1 % of the NDI respondents evaluate his activities as “very well,” 12 % - as “well”, 43 % - as “average”, 21 % - as “bad” and 7 % - as “very bad”.

As for Salome Zurabishvili, 1 % of the interviewed respondents think she works “very well”, 11 % - “well”, 36 % - “average”, 28 % - “bad”, 12 % - “very bad”.

1 % of the NDI respondents assess the activities of Parliament’s Chairman Archil Talakvadze as “very well,” 9 % - as “well”, 31 % - as “average”, 16 % - as “bad”, 6 % - as “very bad”.

The NDI survey was carried out in the period of July 13-29 based on face-to-face interview principle and random selection of 2 131 respondents across Georgia. The margin of error is 1.7%.
