Irakli Shiolashvili: I met Bidzina Ivanishvili this evening and we had a tough conversation; I am sure he is now resented

I met Bidzina Ivanishvili this evening and we had a tough conversation; I am sure he is now resented, - majoritarian MP Irakli Shiolashvili told reporters yesterday.

According to him, the meeting was held in a face-to-face format, though the party leader also met with other lawmakers too. Shiolashvili says they are independent and they will not change their mind by "pressure or intimidation."

“It was a very difficult meeting. We talked about our positions. Of course, we could not agree and I think Mr. Bidzina is now resented. I could not convince him of the accuracy of my position, just as he could not convince me why we should support this bill. I have not changed my mind.

I have the impression and I can say with certainty that Mr Bidzina is working with all the MPs who share my position. I cannot tell you what the results will be tomorrow, but what I can confirm is that we had face-to-face meetings with Mr Bidzina in the party office,” Shiolashvili said.
