Giorgi Margvelashvili: Castings have been on since this spring to find those who will play the role of a kind and acceptable opposition

We heard Bidzina Ivanishvili’s statement that he expects the kind of opposition that will allow him to go home.

Castings have been on since this spring to find those who will play the role of a kind and acceptable opposition, - former President Giorgi Margvelashvili said on PalitraNews when responding to the anchor's question about the sincerity of the protest expressed by the lawmakers, who left the parliamentary majority after the November 14 vote.

“We heard the statement of the leader of the political force, who had recently had a constitutional majority. He said he expected the kind of opposition that would allow him to go home. That is to say, we will have an opposition acceptable for the Georgian Dream and then we, the citizens of Georgia, will sit down in front of TV sets and watch how the opposition and the government will glorify presumably the former leader of the Georgian Dream and then the leader of the whole nation – Bidzina Ivanishvili. If there will be acceptable opposition, he will have everything – both the opposition and the government. And we will all watch how they glorify Ivanishvili and swear each other.

This process has not started today. Castings have been on since this spring to find those that will play the role of a kind and acceptable opposition”, Margvelashvili said.
