Europe is Georgia's past, Europe is Georgia's present day and Europe is Georgia's future, Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia said during his speech at an event organized by the Georgian Dream youth organization on the occasion of taking over the Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe by Georgia.

The Prime Minister pointed out, Georgia has never been so close to Europe. He said the country was able to achieve all this together with the leader of the Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili.

"We all understand that not everybody is living in a prosperity today, but what we have done in recent years, is that we have never had as close relationship with Europe as we have today, we have a close relationship with Europe in an economic context. Today, every Georgian can travel to Europe without a visa. This has happened in recent years. We have achieved this together with our leader, Bidzina Ivanishvili, ”Giorgi Gakharia said.
