20 % of respondents would vote for the Georgian Dream if parliamentary elections were held tomorrow, according to the results of its public opinion survey released by the U.S. National Democratic Institute (NDI) today.

Asked which party they would vote for if parliamentary elections were held tomorrow, 20% of likely voters named Georgian Dream; 13% – the United National Movement (UNM); 8% – European Georgia – Free Democrats

According to the survey, 5 % of the respondents would vote for the Labor Party, 4 % - for the Alliance of Patriots, 3 % - for the New Georgia, 3 % - for the Democratic Movement – United Georgia, 2 % - responded Girchi and the same number - “other parties”, 3 % - refused to answer.

Asked whether they would vote if parliamentary elections were held tomorrow, 65% said they would likely vote, 35 % said they would not. According to the survey, 39% of respondents are decided how they would vote if elections were held tomorrow, 56% are not decided.

The results reflect data collected from November 19- December 13, 2019, through face-to face interviews with a nationwide representative sample of Georgia’s adult population, excluding occupied territories, that included 2,180 completed interviews.

NDI’s survey work is funded by UK aid. The poll was carried out by CRRC Georgia.
